My neighbor threw a HUGE halloween party today on my graduation party date. I was so happy. My party ended at 6pm and their party is still going on. I am watching them from the backyard and they have a huge bon fire and their music is really really loud taking over the whole neighborhood. I’ve never seen him through a huge party before…it was great! I am always invited to go over, but I didn’t want to go because I didn’t sleep well last night since I had a doctor’s apt this morning at 8:00am. I am too exhausted to go dance or do anything. It was amazing because my doctor’s office was decorated with beautiful mardi gras designs and so were their employees. It’s crazy because my neighbors party is about mardi gras too. I love mardi gras, but I don’t like when the women flash people. The theme is mardi gras. Mardi gras has always been my life theme as a child. I’ve seen it a lot in high school and I even collected several bead necklaces throughout my life. I have never been to New Oreans, Lousiana Mardi gras, but maybe I will go sometime. I feel skeptical about going because too many crazy people. I love the small town, quiet mardi gras celebrations just like my neighbors party. What I love the most is mask parties, not like the mask parties that Paris Hilton threw on MY BFF, but like the Mask parties that were shown on the modern Romeo and Juliet with Leo Dicaprio and Claire Danes. A masquerade ball… a party with elegant masks all types, wine, sparking juices, good music, beads, and fun. Similar to the carnival of venice. Romeo and juliet is a sad story…
